Wrong item shipped — got something completely different

★☆☆☆☆·wants refund·$1280 USD·resolved
Cancelled an order before it shipped, was promised a refund within 5-7 business days. It has now been 4 weeks. Each time I contact support I get a different ticket number and a fresh promise. Meanwhile the charge is still on my card, and the dispute window with my bank is closing. $1163 is not pocket change.

    I had to escalate to my state's consumer-protection bureau before they responded. Worked though.
